Moneywise with Kelvin Boston continues to bring financial literacy to public television audiences. The Moneywise series is the nation’s premiere multicultural financial and business affairs program. Each episode teaches viewers the necessary skills to understand basic financial planning concepts, increase their net worth, and use their financial resources more effectively. In 2009, Moneywise with Kelvin Boston began taping its seventh season on public television, making it the longest running multicultural financial and business affairs program on this arena.

Kelvin Boston, the host of the Moneywise series, has devoted his career to the belief that financial education is the best tool to combat poverty and financial illiteracy in America. He is president of Boston Media Inc., the company responsible for creating, co-producing and marketing the show. He is the author of the best-selling book Smart Money Moves for African Americans (Putnam 1996) and conducts dynamic and informative financial planning seminars around the country. The New York Times has referred to Kelvin Boston as an "outspoken voice for Black economic empowerment."
